Well, well, well. Time came to cross this bridge.

I woke up today to an email today from Paypal, telling me my account is banned, and funds in it held for 180 days.

I just called them, and the call girl told me unfortunately there's nothing she can do. They have a special department which decided to ban me. Money is held for 180 days.

I am... sad :(

Now I'll use another Paypal I have (legit account, family member) to receive payments from my sites and my customers. But this is no long term solution, I need a Paypal account.

I asked the Paypal call girl if I can create a new account. She said I can try, it might work it might not work. I mean, what stupidity. Tell me yes or no, don't tell me maybe, we're not curing cancer here. There are rules, am I allowed to or not?

Anyway, and BHW was down all morning, couldn't get no ideas opinions support :(

So okay, once I got my shit together a little I thought about it. I'll use my family member's Paypal to do my business for now (like I've been doing without problems for 5+ years). What changed now is I created a new site, one which Paypal generally considers high risk, and that's probably why this happened. So on my family member's Paypal I won't use this site, and it should be all right.

But I still need Paypal for my new site. I ain't shutting the site down just because Paypal has a stick up its ass with it. I'm thinking stealth Paypal for it.

Tell me something, anything? :/

Essentially, Paypal will NEVER unban the account like this (albeit, this all from just my experience). 180 days until funds released. if you use same details, such as address/phone number, it's only a matter of time before they find you and ban that account. You can use the same address if you change a number or even the format of the address and that seems to work.
You can get a good stealth one, but they sometimes do random spot checks and require docs, so you could be in the same position.

If it was me (and it 'was' at some point), ditch Paypal and get onto Stripe. Much easier, much more chilled and they have ACTUAL humans in support.

Yes, the account is gone. I'll get my money after 180 days.

If I were to make a stealth account I'd use full new info, from name to email to address to phone number to browser to operating system to IP to, everything.

See my reply below about Stripe.

Why don't you use Stripe ?

Stripe is not available in my county. Plus, Stripe literally has it in their TOS (I think) that the types of services I sell are banned, not accepted.

Guys, do I go stealth, or do I go business account? I've been looking into this now and it seems you're allowed to have multiple business accounts.

Wow, 180 days seems extreme. How could they keep your money for that long? Why on Earth were you banned? But, if you wanted to make another account, you could try to use another email and bank account number?

I've been breaking Stripe ToS for over a year. Send them another website to verify and they won't know where the payments come from. They're very chilled over there to be honest, it's weird. I got a couple as backups if need, but yeah it's like verifying one website for Adsense and using another. Give it a whirl. If it's not in your country, use a VPN or something and put fake info?

That's the rule. 180 days they keep your money. I'm beating myself up because I allowed too much money to sit in the account. I was banned, well, let's say for selling social media services. I will make a new account, I have to. Either a business or a stealth one.

Because stripe is not used worldwide and no match for paypal. Paypal sucks but they have worldwide reach and is extremely popular across nations.

That's pretty much correct.

Thanks for the advice. I'd rather try to find a working solution for Paypal now rather than dwelling into Stripe and other payment processors. At least for the moment.

I think I'll create a Paypal business account, and try to use that. And I won't link any bank/debit card to it or nothing. The money I get in that account, I'll buy prepaid credit cards with it or cryptos, and then funnel that to my bank account.

What do you think?

all heigh risk you use bitcoin .

2checkout will work aswell .

but being honest with heigh risk, you usally setup a fiver account and get users to pay for a service for the website money , i no charges heigh but it money.

you can use any website that accept cash for a servise to just collect the cash .

and yes it works 100%

Give it a go I guess. You can use Payoneer or Transferwise to cashout long term, but maybe do weekly cashouts so you don't lose much.

Try and report back here with results, I'm sure it'll be interesting!

wont they link the card info of old account name address , or do they not get that info?

Yeah, playing experiments with my hard earned money. I hate this shit :D

It's my understanding I can create a business account and don't have to link a card or anything. And any money I get in the account I can spend... spend in ways to where I eventually get the money in my bank account, maybe at a little loss.

If it's a business account, you just mark it as a business card, thus the name would be "XXX Business".

They don't ban based on business names because you could have 1000000 with EXACTLY the same business name. (Ofc not registered, just trading name).

What I wonder is, do I need to submit business documents to create the business account. Do you know anything about that?

What were you banned for? I started selling on my account & now really worried.

Can I create a new account, and they answer I don’t know, it might work.

That sums up PayPal perfectly - they literally don’t even know how their own system works.

do I need to submit business documents to create the business account
You don't need to provide documents for the business account itself, but they will surely ask for them (not related to the business, they will ask for a driver license, an SSN if you're in the US, or both) once you start receiving significant amounts of money.
