You can change the user's homepage and force them to do something before getting it back

I'm currently working a script that allows you to specify what to set the user's homepage to. The way the get it back is by following directions (presumeably on the homepage you switched it to).

What would you put in your directions? I've thought about making them fill out a CPA offer, but how long could that last before getting banned?

How would you monetize this traffic?

I have a method of doing this in a way. If you want PM me, we could talk about a JV or something

Probably monetize it in the old school way. Set their homepage to something that says they have a virus, and must download the fix.

At a couple bucks a pop for downloads, that could add up. But, I'm pretty sure this was out like 6 years ago.

Consider doing an frame with the smaller frame (or iframe) being Amazon and the other being Google.com.

I was looking for something similar. (not exactly a content lock)

Visitor opens website and a popup appear with the actual offer in it , lets say if its an Email Submit : Dell laptop (US) : to the actual offer shows on the pop up with a message on top "Enter email to below offer in order to access the website bllaaablaaa etc "
So rather than showing the link if the actual offer shows up conversion with spike big time. Off-course it has to be geo targeting as well.

If someone can do this , i don't mind paying for it. !

I had originally wanted to make this as inconspicuous as possible. Calling it a flat out virus might raise some red flags and get my accounts banned quickly.

I think I'm going to cookie stuff the homepage, then do a download offer where once they download it, my software recognizes it and changes the page to something neutral.

Is this by editing the registry? I used to do this years ago then I figured out I could use it to change the security settings to allow drive by downloads.
