Hi guys
I do a lot of blogging and use the yoast seo for onpage. Is it essential to get the green sign on both the SEO Tab and the Readabilty Tab. Or is going green over optimizing?
THX

Hi Mate,
dont worry that much.

It is not necessary to get everything green in the Yoast SEO plugin for WordPress in order to have good SEO. The Yoast SEO plugin provides recommendations and suggestions to improve your website's SEO, but not all of them need to be followed strictly or result in a "green" indicator to achieve good SEO results.

The green, orange, or red indicators in the Yoast SEO plugin are just visual aids to help you understand how well you've optimized a specific piece of content for SEO. While it's a good practice to aim for green lights in your Yoast SEO analysis, achieving a green light doesn't guarantee that your content will rank highly in search engine results. SEO is a complex field, and many factors contribute to search engine rankings.

I like it very much for regards of readability etc. as this improves the user experience.

Dont worry too much to get the green, the things you see there are just recommendations.

While aiming for green indicators in both tabs is good, prioritize user readability and engagement over strict adherence to Yoast's signals.

i used to get all green in yoast years ago, but i found out that other things are important than their "green"

Simple answer No, I have had posts ranking #1 without being all green. But if you can get as much green as possible. That would be good.

It suggests that you've followed best practices for on-page SEO, including using a focus keyword appropriately, having a meta description, optimizing your images, and addressing other SEO-related factors.

To be honest "No", But it is helping you to make your content readability and SEO Optimising

So Please focus to get a green for your post , That will help to acheive rank

rank math and yoast set are using old rules for articles. They are good but you should not apply the everything.

Green signals in the Readability tab indicate that your content is user-friendly and likely to keep readers engaged. It is important to focus on quality and depth of your content rather than obsessing over it. Some longer, more complex articles can be valuable, even if they don't get a green signal in this tab.

A green sign on both the SIDE Tab and the Readability Tab in Yoast plugin is not essential for good SEO. Yoast is a useful tool for improving the SEO of your content, however.

Yoast SEO is great for blogging, but aiming for a green signal isn't mandatory. Focus on making your content valuable and easy to read, and don't worry about getting perfect scores.

I am 100% sure that someone could post at least one article, which has a terrible rank but manages to attract traffic.

I use Rank Math, and I often want to try to get a good score, but in the end I believe that these software only serve to teach some good skills, I don't think that these should always be used and in every context otherwise in some cases you would end up to write bad articles just to meet constraints.
