Hi guys,
I'm using yoast seo for multiples WordPress Websites ...
Most of my indexed pages (while in sitemap) are "Indexed, not submitted in sitemap" while sitemap exists and have been submitted in gwt ...
In the meanwhile, many other pages are in sitemap but still not indexed ...
As anyone been facing this issue ?
Is it time to move on and remove Yoast ? (as I've seen many of you have been replacing yoast seo by other plugins ...)
Thank you !

"Indexed, not submitted in sitemap"
just means that the page was discovered with other way.

It's time to get with Rank Math.

Can you see site:yoursite.com?

This might not be the most helpful response but I recommend moving to SEOPress - it's easy to switch from Yoast and you can copy all your settings over in a couple of clicks.

I can't troubleshoot Yoast as I left it in the dust years ago.

you can link your sitemaps in your google search console, have you done it?

you can also manually submit your links for indexing in search console while you find what the problem is.

Yes I know it was discovered by another way ... But I'm just skeptikal :s

And yes site:mysite.com is OK and everything is ok in GWT considering penalties

Looking for a bit more feedbacks but I guess Rank Math is a solid alternative

Thank you for the reply, but as you said I've been hoping something more helpful by now (as you left it a long time ago) :)

But thank you for the effort (and I'll keep it in consideration) ...

Yes sitemap is linked in GWT ... That's why I'm considering this as an issue :/

And thank you but clearly it's a pain to manually submit links while I've got to manage multiple websites ...

I understand you.

Many of us have similar problems, including me of course.

Google knows about this problem, they said (2nd June) it was fixed, but it's clear as day the problem is bigger then we thought.

Hum, once again thank you for the reply ...

But just sad to hear it, I've been hoping a better (IE : most optimistic) answer :/

BTW the more I'm working with yoast the less I'm trusting it ... Even if that might not be their fault (AND I've been altering / trying to optimize the way it work to try to solve my issues) ...

EDIT : By now, I'm just wondering if there's only one good "all in one" seo plugin ... Maybe that's clearly no more the way to go (just wondering)
