Yoast Plugin: SEO: Not available

I started a new website and for some reason, I can't make yoast seo plugin to work on it.
I have tried tutorials found online, tried new themes. Deactivate other plugins.

Still, I end up with the image below;

I did add the keyword to the "focus keyphrase" box. It has this unending scrolling.

What is the best alternative to Yoast?

I like "All in One SEO Pack" plugin.

Either use 13.5 or use 14.0.4 then it’ll work

I never liked yoast honestly, i used seopress in the past but right now rank math https://wordpress.org/plugins/seo-by-rank-math/
They are definitely better

Recently, I move from Yoast to Rank Math. I think I made a good decision.

Thank you for your suggestion. I was actually looking for where to download previous versions (I no so little when it comes to things like this).
I have decided to switch to rank math.

Thank you for your suggestion. I have been using yoast for a very long time now. But this recent update is a disaster. I think I will be going with rank math.

I would recommend using RankMath SEO, they have all of the Yoast SEO premium features for free.

I have a lot of websites, I have run tests to see the difference between the two, and I have found that the only difference was that I was paying a high rate yearly with Yoast SEO. Which, I could have the same exact plan for free with RankMath, so I saved a lot of money annually.

If someone still uses Yoast can tell how to remove comments in HTML? I tried different plugins but they can't work.
