Yet another reason to hate HostGator!

HostGator is a piece of trash... Last September I ordered hosting and cancelled on the same day cause I moved to PowerUpHosting to rep some BHW guys. I just found out today by logging into an old email that HostGator has been robbing one of my bank accounts since September 2014, I just got them to cancel it but they refuse to provide a refund....

What are my options? Its only like $50 but still, I don't want to give this crap company my money for free.

You cancelled your hosting and they stll continued to deduct payments from your bank account. That sounds odd of them to do. You can use the cancellation letter you received as an argument to request a refund. Have you tried that?

This happens, they have some bug with their billing software. Contact them and let them know you cancelled months ago and they suck and you want a refund. Their CS team is great. This has happened to me and they were prompt and friendly.

No they're not. I was able to cancel my order last year.
