I have a page on my money site that I have been trying to boost with Scrapebox. I do NOT link to the money site directly, instead, I try to boost the web 2.0 and article properties which in turn link back to that particular page.

The page I have been trying to boost was ranking very well for a specific phrase up until recently. However, it recently completely disappeared out of Google for that phrase. BUT... If I do a generic search for my company's name, the first two entries you see are my homepage and that page that I've been trying to boost.

So I guess my question is... What does this mean? The page obviously hasn't been dropped out of Google, because if you do a generic search for my company's name, you see that page right up near the top.

Is the fact that it shows up like that a good sign? It seems like Google at least recognizes that it's an important page... I guess I should just keep linking and wait for the dance to figure this out, huh?

Just sit and wait. It should pop back up in a day or two. I've seen my site drop out of the index for a keyword for as long as a week before. Give it some time and keep doing what you're doing.

So your internal page was ranking so so in Google when you decided to give it a boost and now it doesn't rank for its keyword?
Same thing happens to me when I spam a lot :D In some cases they never comeback.

Anyone know if im dancing, my main keyword (highest searches) went from mid page 1 to #218 and some lower keywords from top of page 1 to #43 and i have only been link building the same amount as i usually do.
Drop occured on the 21st

Maybe something to do with the recent PR update?

Any help is appreciated

PS: Sorry for hijacking your thread but didn't want to start a new one.
