I am looking to try ewhoring too, just really don't know where to start. I have been writing articles- but the work is like a sweat shop. I will prob be starting a journal of my own. Look like you have had a good start. What all is needed to start. I am kind of confused. I know you have to join an adult affiliate like program, post ads and use an auto responder but if someone could go over the basics that would be nice. I might even pay them.

@alwayscashinin : I'm sorry but I can't give you so much tips I start too. All infos is around, the best advice I can give to you is to try & progress. Start by manually e-whore on pay per e-mail program. It's easy, pay pennies but you will learn it. You can try in chatroom for quick experiements. After you try to post ads on classfield or go to cc sign-up, and after you have understand how these freeloader think you can automate the thing

@fivealive : I can't speak too much about perl without flaming and speak as a fanboy. But perl is,was & will be for ever the best programing langage for Internet. It's a language optimise for text (pascal for math, C for electronics) so it's perfect for the net. Since php arrive, with his n00bs friendly face everybody go for it, leaving perl monks in their heaven :angel10:

If you go with module as LWP or LWP:Mechanize you can make the most powerfull bots for the web (as long there isn't javascript w/ js you will need to controle firefox and it's become just like Imacro or VB things). With other modules (don't have the name here) you will easily manage your e-mails for auto-responder or anythings.

Perl (as linux) is really built in perfect harmony w/ Internet so it's the best way to code for IM related stuff. I've learned a lot of langage but when I meet Perl, I've never write a line of code in another langage (ok in html, js, or for help a friend but never think of a project in another langage )
If you want to learn a langage go for it, it's simple and logic as pascal, basic or php & it's powerfull as java, C or camL. At least for what we need in IM and information processing. If you want more infos just ask or google about "LWP" , "mechanize", "perl monks"...

Thanks for the info, I had a look at Mechanize - it looks pretty cool. Think it would take me months to get a script made to do what I need so I might get someone on GAF to do it. Thanks for the info though.

yes every time you script something, it looks long. But it's better to loose 3 day to automate something than to loose 3 minute every day to do it manually
