"Don't stop believing"

That is my motto, if I have a motto. As you can tell by the user name I have started at the low end of online money making. I am actually OK with picking up the pennies that are left behind in the parking lot of the internet. Surveys give me at least ten a week, but require A LOT of effort for that ten. I am looking for better methods.

I do alright with stocks, and by alright I mean only about three hundred - four hundred a month. I would like to do more, but that requires more money.
Example, today I chose a stock IAG, picked it up for 3.10 a share, it closed at 3.18, so if I dump it would make:
1000(initial investment) - commissions(10)=990 / 3.1 (price per share)=3.19 shares * current price (3.18)= 1015-initial investment (1000)=15-sales commissions(10)= 5 profit
I will be holding this one until it reaches 3.3 should give a profit of 79

Again, I know that 79 isn't much considering that I have to wait 3 days for the money to clear, but I can do this consistently.

SO, Stocks and surveys I can usually clear about between 89 and 100 a week.

The plan: research this forum and the 2 others that I have found and find out how I can put the domain name that I purchased to work for me.

I can't wait to see what I come up with in the next month or so if I can spend about one-two hours 3-4 days a week here and on the other two.

So... I chickened out on my trade... instead of waiting for it to go to 3.3 I dumped it at 3.2. total profit for this trade A big whopping 11.98.

I will update this thread tonight for my trade tomorrow.

I was unclear. I am talking about my own trading.

I p a y 10 every time I trade, funny I cannot say the word s e l l without spaces as it trips the moderation system.



DFWi Reaper, hopefully it will lead to me creating an ebook with the picking knowledge that I have gained over time, then using the information I learn here to market said book then sit back and count my millions on a beach somewhere.


So today I dumped out of my IAG trade early, it did infact reach 3.25 at about 1 pm est, but never reached the 1.3 I thought it would. you can check it out on google finance

Now I have to wait until EODData comes on online tonight at 9 pm for tomorrow picks if there are any.

On other topics, a short list of things I have available to me:
A domain name
I have found free but limited hosting (just search google you can too)
a few hours a day to type and read
Some imagination, not a whole lot though

As stated above since I traded today, I cannot trade until Monday. I cannot wait until my account is upgraded over at etrade, by upgraded I mean that migration of marginalized. It just means that I only have to worry about the pesky day trading rules of no more than four trades in a week if your account does not have 25000 liquid.


If I could trade tomorrow the choice for tomorrow is NYSE:OIBR check it out on google finance

it has been slowly growing the last two days. I would put my purchase at 2.85 (it should start higher do to pre market hours, but then fall).

This one I would keep unit next Wednesday. Lets see what happens this is like a time capsule.

On and off for about 6 years. (if you calculate 15 a week for 6 years it comes out to just under 5000) in this time I have had two sons and diapers c os t mon ey, or I would be using that mon ey to trade more often.

I have lost some and I have gained some, the most important thing I can say about this particular game is to make some rules and stick to them.

Not sure If I can PM, but I am not making mo ney off of sending you there anyway. I use etrade, you can search google for etrade minimum deposit

on the page returned in the search results is states
Get started with just 500.

Is 500 ridiculous? Not sure, for making about 15 per trade (35 if you count the commissions I have to pay) you need about 1000.

I have also used Sharebuilder, but since capitol one took them over and dropped the vikings, I don't care to have them in my wallet.

On to the why I am posting this stuff here in this forum. 15 a day is nice and all, but I want make some money, so that I can funnel it into my trading account and make REAL money. the only thing I can think of after spending 9 months after reading through different threads on this and other forums is that there are two ways to make money on line:

One: have a product or servi ces to s e ll

Two: have the ability to match people who want the product or service with the product or ser vice.

I have tried number two and I am not so good at it, I still need to learn.

So I am exploring number one, more on this in the next post

On to my trade from last night:
we saw that it opened bright and strong, then as predicted dipped to 2 .7 9 allowing us to meet our in goal.

It has since moved to 2 .9 0(10 30 am), I expect a stronger move post 2 pm lunch break.

If we dump it now we get our 15.

IF we follow what I stated in the last post though and hold until next Thursday we could end up with deflated stock so we should always use a 10% trailing stop.
You can do this with etrade, but there is a big long 4 paragraph write up that you have to agree to before they apply the trailing stop to you trade that basically states: we will try to make this happen for you, but if it does not it is your own fault, so watch what you are doing as we will not be a robot for you.

Well, here it is, my trade for monday is NYSEGN
I know what you are saying, with gas prices as low as they are is is wise to invest in a smaller offshore producer?
We are not investing long term we are simply going to b u y at 2 . 0 5, and sell at 2 . 2 0
Remember that we should be setting our 5% stop loss so most we lose is .20 per share.
If we win: 1000/2.05=487 shares s e l l at 2.20 487*2.20 = 1073.10 minus commisions paid leaves us with $53.10
If we loose: 1000/2.05=487 shares s e l l at 1.94 487*1.94 = 950 minus commisions paid leaves us with -$70

So yes this trade is risky considering we can loose 20 and that is would take our profit so far to $10, but we could and should easily win this one and that will take our profit of 83.00

So sitting in the bath tub very clock work orange-esk, this is what I think I am going to do, and really posting these messages on BHW has helpped me.

I guess here is my first white hat system given away for free:

I know that there is a plugin for wordpress that will send what you post to all of your social meadia accounts, yes it is free you can google for it.
The list like 15 or 20 social outlets.

I know how to get wordpress running on my local PC.

The plan:
Create the 15 to 20 Social accounts
Link them with the plugin.
Create a test post to send to all of them to make sure the formatting is correct.

In order to do this I need a great brandable name that does not exist in any of them.

So First step, I need to write an ebook expalining my strategey.
I need to learn how to lock the ebook, basically I need to understand more about adobe PDF maker or other software used to make ebooks.

Second step, brand it with keyword data

Third step create the accounts as above
Build friends in the social networks by joining groups of similar content and letting the social networks do the "people you may aslo like" for me.


Then provide the service I am giving here such as stock tips on which ones to buy, sort of a play along at home type of thing.
With each post use wordpress post template to say somthing like "Click here to see how I picked this stock and many others!"

post this on my blog on my local PC let it autopost the social networks, spend an hour or so each night doing the message cleanups on the networks.

the most important thing I must never forget is to write enganging stock intros.

Keeping up with the user interaction on the networks is going to be crazy though....

Need to find a tool that will bring them all together in one place and reply remotely to them to make this easier.

Well since all the magic has already happened I may as well post now:

in my message last night I set my b u y at 2.00 and was going to s e l l at 2.10, This stock started out at 2.05 and went to 2.03 then jumped to my target profit and even went to 2.15!
if we look at the numbers:
1000 10 990 2.03 487.6847291 2.15 1048.52 48.52 10 38.52

That is a Profit of 38.52! Double our normal!

Now back to my rules, I didn't get a chance to trade this as the target profit hit before my buy price. There is a chance of this happening post lunch time, but I don't play the aftershocks of a stock.

Just an afternoon upate, 2.15 before lunch, went to 2.25. You should never look back and here is why:
If we would have bought at 2.05 and sold at 2.25 here are the numbers
1000 10 990 2.05 482 2.25 1086.58 86.58 10 76.58

This trade would have been almost a 100 dallor trade, not bad for most people. However we need to look tword the future and see what tonight holds.

In the absolute craziness that is small cap oil stocks I think this one is the is cream of the crop.
Oh, and by the way if you want to thank someone for gas prices changes being so low, you can thank this guy: Saudi Arabia's oil minister Ali Al-Naimi you should google this guy and what he is trying to do, besides stop fraking in the U.S. by making the oil out of the middle east so cheap.
