Yet another IG+Ogads journey this time with emphasis on analytics

I think I have a proven method. I am doing fake giveaway. Setup is IG accs from @Valar Instagramis >my prelander on github>simple landing page.

As you can see cvr is OK, it was done with 8 accs so $ 0,51 acc/day. Not that bad but there is room for improvement. So what is this journey about? 2 goals.

I run Heap analytics and check what people are doing on my site.

Last week unique sessions 480
Unique hits on button with locker 288

So I am loosing like 40% potential conversions where people don´t even see my locker.

1, first goal increase % of locker impressions

I have registered fresh .com domain and turned it into legit looking eshop. Nothing fancy but it looks clean and profesional. I am using Flatsome theme from @Festinger (check out his giveaway threads for wordpress https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/get-any-paid-wordpress-plugin-you-need-for-free.980897/ and https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/get-any-wordpress-theme-you-need-for-free.984587/page-13#post-10571883)


Pre lander is almost without change I add few words so it is more in line with „legit eshop“ look. I am offering 100% discount coupon to one lucky follower.

Flow on shop site: home page=shop page>after adding product to cart is user automatically redirected to cart page (aply coupon there)>minimalistic checkout>locker loads right before thank you page after order was placed. Text says that order will be canceled if they fail human verification> woocommerce is set up to auto cancel every order. Also every payment method except cash on delivery is disabled.

Atm I have just fresh 2 accs (aged from valar) pointed to this site for few hours. So far 2 unique sessions and 2 conversions I will ad another 5 in next hours.

Another advantage of eshop landing page (if it works) is that it will be possible ad another products and just adjust prelanders. think this way: eshop with electronics> batch of acc promoting free headset another free keyboard etc


2, second goal is to increase performance of accounts

Yesterday I added utm source parameter to prelander links so I can track performance of individual accs (every acc has own prelander). And just after these 2 days I can already say that most traffic comes just from 3 of them and rest 5 are almost useless. So suddenly I am at $1,37 per day per acc.

Every acc has different source and bio so I have to find out if source is bad or I have to improve bio. Interesting is that followers gains are almost same for every acc. This will be the hardest part because sources and bio are almost equally good in my eyes and yet so much difference.

So time for small update. Bad news: I lost my heap analytics from my simple landing page Good news that it is due to having more than 5000 estimated sessions in month (heap count it after 14 days if they see it will be over 5000 they want money) But I still have analytics from "legit eshop landing page" so lets present few numbers.

First goal was to increase locker impressions. First few hours looked good but after four days I can say that I have failed. Conversion rate from unique sessions>place order=% of impessions (after that locker shows up) is even worse than on simple landing page this is for last 4 days 36% 28% 32% 41%. As I said I dont have data from simple landing page but it was between 55-65% every day. All this could be saved by better CVR but it stays same around 30% like with my simple landing page.
Either I did something wrong or my audience is totally dumb. Many of them did not use discount coupon even they read it 3 times to do so. Some of them leaved just on home page without doing anything. Really strange that some shitty one page website is more convincing(it is not a stellar piece) that legit looking shop with discount coupon. Anyway I am switching my traffic to old landing page.

Second goal was to increase performance of individual accs. This was quite success. Again no analytics for simple landing page but when I checked last time all accs have traffic. Before some of them were doing 0-2 unique sessions while top acc was doing 20-30. When I checked last time all were doing 10 + unique sessions.. Still not ideal but much better than before. I have to improve bios. 2 accs needed just different source.
acss for "legit shop lp" are bringing between 7-17 unique sessions.

One reason for lower locker impression rate could be bad traffic. Accs for "legist shop lp" have different sources than accs for simple lp. So best approach would be to switch traffic between them. But I am greedy and I just redirect everything to better performing simple lp. If % of impressions stays same it was not due to bad traffic from accs for "legist shop lp".

God i came up with this idea this week luuul i tghout im the only one think out of the box XD

unique sessions 678
unique clicks on locker button 428
so % of locker impressions is 63% therefore traffic going to "legit shop" landing page was not the problem but page itself. Hard to say where was the problem

You can see that CVR is good in both cases so you cannot measure success just with that.
Anyway together it is $67,93 it was done with 15 accs but 3 of them got heavy follow blocks just from creation (blocks after first follow). Aged accs, proxies were from same batch as for already running accs so I dont know where the problem was. Anyway from yesterday things are getting better.
So I can say that it was earned with 12 accs so I am at 0,81 day/acc so it is nice improvement form start.
Still rcan be better but I think I will take it as it is and just add more accs.
