I agree with this approach...people who want to get into the seo / social game should pick a niche and actually rank a website first...then you can sell the leads to any company and use that as an in to sell them your services. Selling first and then hoping it works out later is why this industry is frowned upon a lot of times, because honestly...this person has no idea what they are doing. Presenting yourself as an expert is dishonest (if you are not).
. You will never forget your first client. Keep it up
