I tried many times to find domain with good backlinks, register it and redirect 301 to my money site. Never get ranked. It's not that easy. I read that you must trick google by uploading old original content from archive org and after 2-3 months when google index it again, you are ready to 301 redirect or you can delete original content and post your own

Maybe you have registered expired domain just right after it's expiration. That's why google treat your new site like old original and backlinks counts. But when domain is dropped for 1-2 years google treats it as new domain without backlinks after registration

Currently I am focusing only on 1 niche that is gambling related.
Would like to branch out to another niche but I did not really know how to monetize it.

I use both. The monetization that I choose depends on the niche & how my CTR is & what type of traffic I'm getting/using.
Be careful with Adsense & gambling though. They allow certain types of "responsible" gambling content to display their ads.
He's right, that does happen sometimes. Not every time, but it's been known to happen.

I've never actually had it happen. Also, for anyone reading this, if you're checking in ahrefs and dont see the backlinks number anymore, check your backlinks in Google with the site operator commands to get a list of places your new domain has been linked back from.

Yes site 4 penalty is a common issue on new domains with low quality content, autoblogs, or when you post to fast. Expired domains dropped long time ago are treated as new domains by google

I don't think so. Sometimes, it can work much much better than New domains (if the site is 5+ years old and had some history in the SERPs)

It works yes but it should be chosen so carefully. Because the domain could be used for spam or may have backlinks that you don’t want to have…

it got expired domain 10 years ago. It was registered first in 1999.
i kept it developing and now it ranks about the super-elite high DA 90 sites in my niche.
that domain's DA went from 30 to 62 in these 10 years.
so expired domains do rank, IF you build content-rich sites on them.

they've always worked,back in the day I used to re-sell 301 redirects of old authority domains. they worked very strongly back even
