Yearly Limit on eBay?

Hi, I’m a private seller, and I have some items on German eBay. I would like to stay within my monthly limits. Do you think eBay will allow me to sell all year long without necessarily having to register a business?

Yes you can usually sell all year as a private seller as long as you keep the volume low and stay within limits. eBay only pushes business registration if your activity looks commercial

Yes, you can sell as a private seller year-round on German eBay, but if sales get frequent or high, you may need to register as a business.

On eBay, there isn't a fixed annual limit, but rather a monthly limit for new sellers, typically 10 items or a total value of $500.

didn't they remove the limit? Must be only on new accounts. My account is unlimited.

Yes, you can sell all year as a private seller - but only if it looks like private selling.
If you start selling regularly, same type of items, or clearly for profit, eBay will treat you as a business sooner or later. In Germany especially, limits are stricter (volume and tax reporting). So casual selling - fine, but consistent flipping - risky without a business.
