I'm so excited 2 of my sites have been hijacked - now i know most of you wouldnt view it as a positive but the truth is i never did anything with them - i didnt know what or how, so just when i think i might be able to do something i find out they have been hijacked. Ironic or what?
So i got the accounts blocked at domain registry and a security ticket at hostgator. I don't know what to do next but i am sure someone on here does.

Anyway i am happy because some one out there thought 2 of my random unresearched site names were worthy of traffic and hacking - now that has to be good right?

Funny i bought 4 micro-nichesites from sterday and even though one of the sites is on first page of google a random unlisted site i created actually gets more traffic, but then i guess no need to get excited about 13 page views right!;)

ok so not so happy now.
Hostgator have found a different IP address but no malicious stuff. hello but am i the only one who thinks its wrong that the site is listed in my public-html files and listed as having word press installed but not listed as an addon domain and not listed in the word press installation section and i dont have any word press admin login/access details and even if you type in domain name wp-admin no login comes up?
jez i know nothing about this stuff but even i have worked out that if i dont have an admin password and the admin login dont come up that there is a problem:pat:

no, hackers aren't picky about the qualities of the websites they hack, lol

Sounds to me like left-over files from your developer. Check with whoever built you the site to see if those files look familiar.

yeah for hostgator - all sorted an got my domains back. :D

damn i better go drown my sorrows:(

You should use different protection measures. This is pretty common nowadays. Google some of them.

Turns out i was over optimistic - i only got 1 site back - still working on the other!

Instead of wp admin try wp-login.php to login to your wordpress
