Hey,
Someone who is not me recently sold a high value item, the buyer charged back after receiving the item.
The money was already withdrawn, the buyer does'nt want to return the item for a refund and want both things to keep. Ebay already refunded, negative $2000 on the account.

The account is with stealth info, all of it except the bank account.

Bank account already disconnected and closed.
What can happen? do they send cops after you and trace the ip?
The seller was in Canada.

Someone can pm me with the answer if you cant talk about it openly.

They will usually send it to a collection agency. Since the account is stealth info I would not worry about it. Ebay would have to go through some legal process to find out the true owner of the bank account. I don't think $2000 is worth it to them. Now if you were try to stiff them huge $$$ they would come after you.

I really hope you guys are right.
Thanks for the replies, Cheers.

Shouldn't have an issue with them tracing the bank account or the IP.. A lot of people use proxies, even non bh'ers...

Also, like paypal will maybe send to collections, most likely however, they will just send email, after email, after email, before they do that...

Dont proxies get you booted?

you should be fine, just try not to link that account to any good paypals any longer.

And since you're stealth you prob know this already, but remember to eradicate cookies, flash cookies, cache, etc. Creating a new user on your PC to login to the next acct will help too.

You'll be fine, they wont be bother to do some "real" investigation for that amount of money you owe them.

$2,000 is a lot. PayPal is cheap. They very well might sue you for it.
