If your audience is mostly eastern-European it’s worth testing. For boosting to first page outside of backlinks/DA/PA I’d focus on on-page stuff instead like strong keyword targeting, internal linking, and making sure your Core Web Vitals are clean.

I tried to use Direct years ago, and the experience was terrible: a lot of money spent, zero new clients.

I’ve had the same experience. I’ve spent a lot without seeing any results.

In Yandex, people mainly use Russian, not English. That might be why I missed the sale.
