My site is on front page of yahoo for a keyword but on google i can't even find it in the first 20 pages ? any explication for this ?

There has been a recent Google Update, I believe the update is more about quality backlinks than quantity of backlinks.

Quality control most likely. Google and Yahoo/Bing algorithms are pretty vastly different. Not to mention if you get penalized on one, it's not going to carry over to the other.

Yes Man, It can happen for sure. The value of a back link can differ in both search engines ..so just try to get some more variety of quality back links to impress Big G.....
