Does anybody else have this issue?
How to fix/restore email access?

Have seen yahoo doing this if email is not used for some good long time. Not sure if they do have proper support for this also you may double check if email is spelled correctly.

That’s exactly my case - I wasn’t using it for a few month, then when I suddenly need it I get this message. I guess it’s gone... .
 
Some hackers hacked their database while ago. You should have been changed your password. Seems like you didnt say goodbye to your email. Rest in peace.
 
Try using pop3 see if it works. Shouldn’t get disabled I have some I haven’t used in years from 2011 and still up
