Yahoo site explorer - What is going on?

Well, my site is like 2 months old, and in Yahoo site explorer was showing about 12K backlinks, but then I made a Xrumer run with 10k Verified backlinks, they started appearing there, but it has stopped, and the number started going down eventually, now its in 11k.
Why is this happening? Does anyone has any experience on this?

Could be your other backlinks were removed. Things like "recent comments" and other backlinks get deleted and deindexed.

YSE Is using the Bing index now so expect some question marks in the beginning.

I read they merge their engines. Didn't thought about the Site Explorer though.

Comes naturally doesnt it? To bad they probably effed up on of the best research tools out there...
