We'll I knew this was coming sooner or later.

All good things of Yahoo's are getting shut down, I knew it was only a mater of time.

I bet MajesticSEO and SEOMoz are glad to hear this announcement.

I am sorry but I am wondering what is THAT bad bout Yahoo Site Explorer closing down?

Can't we just use backlinkwatch or some other backlink tracking like google?

YSE is the best of what's publicly available, the others just aren't as good.

yep this should not be a shocker. This was talked about long ago. If you have not notices over 6 months ago the yahoo ads and bing ads merged to be managed under bing.

Just one more step closer to 100% of shutting down yahoo.

Just wonder about the yahoo Directory that people pay 299 a year for what they are going to do with it.

I had a site that I paid that to have it included in the Yahoo directory ( that was then when I knew nothing about Internet or SEO unfortunately).

Total waste of money that was. Never gained anything SEO or SERPS wise in yahoo or any other search engine.
