I am thinking about developing a Yahoo Site Explorer tool. From your experience, does YSE give similar results as google? I noticed that it did not pick up any of the sites from a linkwheel I recently did, all of which were picked up by Google. So, where it said "inlinks", the number was only 2.

Is YSE a good indicator, and do you think that most of their statistics match up with the big G? Obviously at the microniche level, results could be dramatically affected.

Yahoo is a good indicator since it usually shows you backlinks that Google hide from you.

While the results that you see in Yahoo is a good indicator of your backlinking efforts there is really no way to tell if a link you see in Yahoo has been indexed in Google. Chances are that there is a lot of overlap but they do play by different rules.

Google does not give a damn about showing links to webmasters.but yahoo is doing a fine job,at least so far.Although google does not show all links,it does index most of the links built by you.
