hello I am as green as can be when it comes to SEO but i am slowly learning some things. I have a question about backlinks and yahoo site explorer. about 3 weeks ago i submitted some posts on a few do follow blogs with links back to my site. I still have yet to see these links show up in my backlinks list. Am i missing something? Thanks for any help you can give.

A simple way to you, if you want more links for your blog go again on yahoo site explorer and put a website in that and take backlinks from their.

Yahoo Site Explorer never shows you all the backlinks you get. You can try Google Webmaster tools that will eventually tell you the backlinks you have.

YSE has issues. We know it doesnt show all the links but it hasnt worked properly in months. Shows 13 backlinks to my site yet MSEO shows over 600. And thats not history. I wonder how people are using Spyglass? Because this thing pulls data from YSE so how can anyone say its their favourite tool when it cant pull data from YSE anymore.
