Why isn't Yahoo SEO discussed much here? Isn't it only the second most popular search engine? I know some noob people who use yahoo over google. I tried searching for my keywords that I have first page on google and most of them don't show up in yahoo's first page. You'd think SEO for google is SEO for anything.

Yahoo seems to imitate google pretty closely. In terms of on page factors, they are similar. Off page, I'd say that yahoo loves crap tons of links. I had one site that I got an xrumer blast from... Google dropped me out of the index and yahoo ranked me in the top 3.
Yahoo does take a bit longer to index you compared to google too.

I think yahoo / bing are easier to rank then google.. I am having a hard time ranking my site on google vs the others. I think your URL has plays a big factor in Yahoo.

Well there is a hole in that statement, Bing actually supllies all organic search results for Yahoo. Yahoo only controls the ymaps and PPC now. Bing tends to like older domains with keyword rich urls. Google also reacts quicker to SEO on adn off page with the addition of caffeine...
