Yahoo Rising..!

This will increase usage of yahoo as a search engine despite what many in this thread think.

Why do you guys think so many people use bing (believe or not they do)? When you're in a niche where products have a target group of people around age 50 bing shows almost the same search rates as google.

Although admittedly at least bing is gentle on your eyes so some fellas might not feel the need to change it. Yahoo on the other hand is so damn ugly, even lazy mofos will put some effort in changing the default search engine

A) Search bar searches are a huge minority.

B) Many people hate Yahoo and will still change it to Google.

C) Firefox is losing market share at a scary rate.

Summary: This may take away one or two percent (at most) of Google's share, but that doesn't change much unless you want to build your SEO strategy around 1 or 2 percent of the market share lol.

Interesting news but meaningless.
