Anyone notice that making new yahoo accounts now forces you to have a vaild mobile number and you can't skip this step! anyone know a trick to bypass this?

No it's a unique ip

Seems to require phone number verification every time, with proxies and router IP (never used for Yahoo account).

My Yahoo account is trying to dig personal info from me, just like youtube and the google properties.

Looks like someone's really interested in personal info ;)

You can still fill in dummy info. The number must be valid but they don't send sms verifications. I just enter numbers until it creates my email. Search in google for mobile operators phone codes. You might also find some real numbers. Just change some digits and you are good.

Good luck with that, Yahoo. :-)

They always choose the perfect timing and the strategy to effectively diminish their user base.

*cough* use a random mobile number *cough*

nope. mobile number MUST be verified by sms. It can be tricked (i.e. receive sms online sites), but it's still a pain.

I've been creating about a hundred accounts daily for the past two weeks without a problem. None of them were verified by sms. They said they sent a verification, but I've been using the accounts just fine.

Like seocrab said the only way is to verify with online SMS verification services or you could use a few other phones to verify your accounts depeding if your a PVA seller or just wanting to use it for your own personal use.

Cheers,
AG

Is that browser creation or via an app?

Are you using any bots or creating manually.
I have no problems with creating yahoos, never asked for phone verification either.
Which country ip are you using to create the accounts.

Just ran my bot, all failed this aint good.

I create several emails per day. They ask for mobile phone number but never asked for sms verification. I created one today and again no problem. Check your proxies guys. I use different ip for each email. Also use different phone number for each email.
