Is it 1999 all over again? Will they restart Geocities?
As long as Android mobile phones are alive, no one can replace the Google search engine.Google is dead now.
They are now under Verizon Media Group.I have no idea how Yahoo is still in business with all the poor decisions they have made over the years.
I know who owns Yahoo... not sure why anyone would buy them unless it was a discounted sale based on revenue/expenses @ a % that is lower than industry standard as to value. They are now under Verizon Media Group.
Some of their websites like Yahoo Finance and Mail still make money and that's what keeps them alive.
Any competition in the search engine market is good anyways these days. Gotta welcome them with open arms.
I am somewhat sure that's gonna end up in a pretty nasty anti-trust lawsuit.Google will end up buying Yahoo = end of the story.
I am very well aware of who owns Yahoo, but does it matter? They are now under Verizon Media Group.
It matters because Verizon knows how to make digital advertising profitable. Like how Alphabet is great at managing internet companies that operate at scale.I am very well aware of who owns Yahoo, but does it matter?
You don't see people running around saying Alphabet instead of Google....
I don't know what good that would do, as most of the search engine landscape will change once Google launches its AI chat model.Any competition in the search engine market is good anyways these days. Gotta welcome them with open arms.
