Yahoo Index

I've a few questions re: Yahoo indexing.

Firstly, my site appears mysitename dot com instead of actually having the www part in. Is there a reason for this?

secondly, my site appears on page 1 of google using just white hat methods for a huge amount of terms, but im buried on page 4 of yahoo.

Any ideas about eithe rof these?

Different search engines have different algo's. I believe that MSN and Yahoo love comments, where as google prefers contextual links.
