Yahoo Directory Listings - SEO Ranking

I have my sites in the top positions for my keywords in google, however
I do not have a strong rank in yahoo.

I used the traffic travis software and noticed that one of my competitors is listed in the yahoo directory listings, I have more page rank, back links, etc but they are still ahead of me in ranking.

I went to the yahoo directory listing site and notice there is a cost involved in getting listed, here is the message at the top of the page:

My site DOES NOT contain adult content or services US$299 w/recurring annual fee ...

How do I get my site listed and showing good rankings in google, do I need to pay this amount or is there another way around this.

Weather getting a Yahoo directory listing is debatable, some say no, some say yes. I say yes but just build links without an expensive directory submission is my advice unless you can justify the expense.

you donot need to goto premium directory submission just submit your site using yahoo sitexplorer

i tested yahoo directory, and you will see difference after 1 month . 299 worth it .
