Yahoo answers

Ok guys I want to lead this by saying i made a post about yahoo answers suspending my account. Happened a few times from my links. My new strategy was to spend 15 minutes every morning answering about 3:1 ratio of just answers with every third answer being directed to a link that was highly relevant (not homepage) on my site. Worked well.
I assume these are backlinks, so will they build over time?
Is all hope lost and take a new natural traffic strategy?
Are you getting decent traffic from yahoo answers?

As I know Yahoo Answer is search engine from Yahoo to answer the questions based on your purpose and need because there are many internet users to answer your question as well as possible.

I get around 50 - 100 visitors a day from yahoo answers which is not much compared to what I get from google. But I like to use yahoo answers when I start a new website to see how well the niche converts. If it converts well I then build some backlinks ect.. to get it ranking.
