Yahoo Answers Stats...

Curiosity here, but does anyone know how many views an average post get's and the time scale of it.... I doubt there's a way to track or tell but if someone could drop some stuff that would be great, cheers!

If views is impossible what sort of click through's are you getting, no need to divulge your niche though.

To be perfectly honest, at the time i write my answer i dont get that many views. And it actually seems to ramp up over time.

I dont think much of the answers traffic comes from people going through yahoo for an answer, but for people typing some sort of question/keyword into search engines, and yahoo answers coming up in the SERPS.

Prob doesnt help you at all. But regardless of whether you are just answering, or writing questions aswell. it gets better over time.

Speaking for some of my own niches (Actually, it may be the same for you). Say TV streaming, yahoo answers are given authority so often have a bunch of grouped results on the front page.

Out of interest i took a look at my yahoo answers traffic for the past year.



I really only answered questions at the end of august. Although had done a few prior to that. Maybe in total i would have answered 200 questions before the end of august, also including those that i did in june july etc. But spread out its actually fairly easy.

Since august, i cant think of a time when i have actually sat down to write answers properly. And as you can see the traffic is still rising with no intervention of my own.
