I don't get it... Every day go through and look for questions on yahoo answers that I clearly have answers for on my blog.

For instance... they ask what is the best way to get rid of acne. I write a paragraph by hand and explain about a bunch of natural ways to do it and link to my blog entry that goes into more detail.

Next day I get notified that my answer was reported. I scrolled down and all my answers over the past week got reported also. I only leave sources on about 1 out of every 3 answers I leave.

What is the point of even leaving a source if it will get reported?

Anybody else able to get your sources in without being stripped?

It's probably some asshole promoting something in the same niche reporting your answers(might even be with multiple accounts)...

Yea I didn't even think of that. I am careful to only drop links when they are directly related to the question and the answer I am giving.

It is not "probably" some arsehole, it "is" some arsehole reporting them. The only thing Yahoo Answers seems good for these days are really non competitive niches. Wait for something new to come out then write a question about the product and answer it yourself and choose it as best as quick as possible. This way you have less comp, and there is not much point in the arseholes reporting your answer if they cannot get their answer in on the question.

get 5 yahoo level 2 accounts for $5 from fiverr. answer only 2 questions from an account. :D:D:D

Your getting flag boomed buy a competitor, or someone that did not like one of your answers or something.

You could buy a level 3 or 4 account. This will make it much harder for someone to flag your answers. You will have more authority,

Well same thing happened with me. Someone was reporting my answers. Even those answers which is selected as best answer by user (real user). You don't have much choice. Get level 3 or 4 acc and start posting.

Is your niche "acne" if it is then I'm the asshole.

I cover about 6 niches. Acne was only a tiny piece

Now I know what niche I am gunna go on a reporting frenzy on : )

Definitely some competition reporting you but doing the same widely will not solve anything but hurt someone just like you.
It should stop all the way around.

I decided to just not bother with yahoo answers since all it takes is 1 jerk to make all my hard work go to waste.

Gunna just keep working on pinterest and facebook

Well, acne is good niche. I think you should try a different method. I saw people post their answers with clickable product link by using different accounts and different IPs. Then, it has a lower possibility of reporting your answers. I personally use SEORUPAK on fiverr, he is a yahoo specialist and also give you life time warranty about any answers. I have 5 websites on different niche, got huge traffic by using this method!

Fuck yahoo answers, I mean it's really good but I made the stupid mistake also of having just one account.. was getting a really nice chunk of traffic -- boom all gone :D

It's your competitors I promise you. I've answered questions from 10 years ago since yahoo allows now that should be no where seen on the site that get reported.

If you are in stock trading niche, Expect me on yahoo answers. lol

Thanks to smithalan=)
And yes, it's competitors. I have the same troubles with promotion of my projects. Digging deep to help people, next day - the answer is reported. But if you're too concerned about this, try different outsorcers
