So I just Reached level 2 on yahoo answers which is good if I want to get backlinks.

Now the problem is - this is with my primary yahoo account, so if I use it to promote my site a lot I'll probs get banned.

Does anyone know if I get banned is it just from yahoo Answers or is it my whole account (email address etc) ?

As I really need this email address I couldn't risk it getting banned

Just your yahoo answer account.
I got tons of banned accounts, and am still able to send and recive emails with those.

Great, I don't care if the yahoo answers acc gets banned....

Also, instead of constantly promoting your links, you should take a little time to answer a few questions that you're knowledgeable about. That way, you spread out your answers between the promotion of your links, and it makes your account look less spammy.
 
I wonder is it possible to edit your answer,doubt it though.

I got an answer chosen as best answer and had my website as the source but this was when I was level 1....now I'm level 2
