Yahoo Answers New Levels and Link Submissions different

Okay so YA has changed their site to a "best answer" panel. No more thumbs up wins on q and a. This actually works out better for affiliates as they only need to own both accounts to control which answer gets voted as best and appears at the top.

My question is that many of the links that used to work well with aff. offers and websites attached to them are all being ghosted. and YA actually will ghost the whole answer and not the link. Ones that i have used before are goog shortener and bit.ly shortener.
Now if any of these are used questions get ghosted. Is anyone using these links and getting results?

Also YA now allows any level user to post links, i have successfully posted links on level 1 accounts with non spammy links such as google and yahoo answers community links. but when trying to add on any others (using level 1 and level 2) i get ghosted.

I Like to poll the YA users that have ran into this issue...

The traditional quick fix for this issue has been to put down as your YA link a youtube url, wikipedia link or other such authority page where you have managed to get your direct target link posted. I haven't worked YA recently to see if this has changed, but it still seems a simple, evergreen way to get around the ghosting.
