So I posted the link to my website yesterday on about 5-10 questions. All of them got flagged and my account got suspended? I'm cool with using a new account but I'm wondering if it's really worth it if I'm just going to get suspended again. How much does having a level 2 account or higher help in terms of not getting flagged? To me it seems like if I put my link in there then it's going to get flagged anyways. Also, anyone have any tips for not getting suspended or flagged?

well I had once a level 3 account which was flagged and suspended, so I think level 2 wouldn't help that much (it's true that I was posting 15-20 messages from that account to my site everyday)
but you can try it

Well i have several Level4 accounts i use to randomly spread my links but remember you should offer something in return to that community not just sticking your site URLS try to provide some relative information about your niche or your interests and then try to stick them.

Yes people with higher levels have more flagging power so you have to wisely use these level2 accounts which can bring in great amount of traffic if done properly

I just think that if your basically spamming with your link then you'll get flagged anyways, regardless of level. I'm sure that the higher level the less it means to get flagged, but if enough people report you then your flagged anyways--right?

Send them an email and asked them why did they delete your answer. Ask them to show you which rule did you violate with your answer. I did this several times and they restored my accounts and answers. Also be persistant. If the first time they say that you didn't follow their rules or whatever send them another email and keep sending them emails until they restore your account. But be sure that you really didn't brake any rules and didn't spam too much. For future, to be on the save side, answer one question per day and post only one link per account. Also be sure to use different IPs for different accounts. Your answers will get flagged by the competition whatever you do but if you are not spamming yahoo will restore your account.

Ips have nothing to do with the answers ask me because i keep doing Yahoo Answers All Day long it is very basic that if you are trying to promote your Site URL and keep Spamming those links thats the natural way you will get your Account suspended try to make it look more natural and informative and you will be all Good to go

I think lvl 2+ accounts can get more warnings before it's suspended.

You must just really really target the questions so they aren't obvious.

This is what the e-mail says:

Well this is what I did: I own a movie niche site so for the questions that were like "where can i watch X movie online?"

I just put something like:

I saw the movie on here: websitename.com

I probably did it on about 10 answers.

But at the same time, it is totally a relevant link, because you really can watch the movie on there. My only thing is can they prove that I own the site? If so, then they can tell me I violated it.

Some folks and mods will just be dbags. My answers are completely relevant to the question. I read it and answer it in a legit manner. My links lead to my sites which have additional, legit information on the topic. Still, sometimes they get deleted and accounts suspended. Don't worry too much over it and keep going.

You can't avoid getting flagged.
But there are ways you can minimize the chance of getting suspended or at least make the account last at least a month.

i've had some of my posts removed due to people reporting them.. but the key is to ensure that each post is a genuine contribution (like was said in a previous post). I haven't just spammed my link up, I took a few moments to really write a reply.. and all of the links that were removed, were re-instated. I have also won Best Answer quite often... which is nice.. I think it reflects how your doing in some cases.

Provided targeted answers, but i think its harder to get suspended when you have a level 3+

Dont put the same text while answering the questions. That way you wont get banned. Spin it every time you post it...

I work with YA for six months and I found two main reasons to get banned:

1 - short time between posting a answers and other
2 - answer posting in different niches that are reported

ip address, lvl of account, same text... does not seem to have importance to get banned.

yeh i posted the same anser about 2o times -- i even got best answer - 2 - 3 times - so probably waht you write too - just make it really helpfull like you give a damn makes it look more natural --

you should not put your link in every answer, if it looks like you are trying to help and not just spam.

Never had a problem, but like jacobb said, it's important to not put a link in EVERY answer. Also, I usually let my accounts age a bit before answering any questions. I can't say for sure that that's a secret edge or anything, but again, I've never been flagged. So, in a nutshell, I spread links around a bit, I add value (always, even on the link answers) and I give things a bit of time before starting.

With all of that stuff said though, I have to admit that I stopped using Y!A a while back because I found that, even though it does boost traffic, the traffic didn't convert as well as traffic from ezines or other web 2.0 sites.
