Yahoo Answers --> Forum Feed Plugin???

Hey guys,
Sorry because i digg an old thread but this is the closest one that i can find which related to what i'm looking for at the moment. I'm looking for a forum scraper and poster for my new forum.

Since it is a new forum, hence i need some content in it and the below idea shared by Patrat is very useful but i tested it and its not working anymore. Does anyone know any other method or is there any software (cheap or free) for this? I found one software (VBulletin Manager v2.5.9) but the price at $59.90 seems to be very expensive to me at the moment.

Any suggestion?

How to create content for a forum using Yahoo Answers

If you start a forum but have no idea how to get people in there or if its already set up and want some extra content in your discussions. I never tell people about this little trick as its a big money making technique, however since I am in such a sharing mood and you stumbled across it and asked and I read here you go:

Firstly make sure you have a Yahoo Developer ID, if not sign up here:

developer.yahoo.com

IMPORTANT: Make sure you note of all the information they gives you.

Get a copy of ICO-Content. The company that made this modification for VBulletin is pretty much now defunct, but copies of ICO-Content are floating around everywhere. Download it here:

Follow all the instructions to get everything set up, it can be pretty tricky for a non-coder, search for tutorials online.

Now its setup, you need to find keywords for the system to start new threads with. Try using Google?s external keyword tool here:

Now, the forum is set up with auto posting threads and posts.

Make sure it works by going to Scheduled Tasks and click Run Now next to the ICO-Content task. Do this 4-5 times to make sure its updating.

Another trick, put a Meta Refresh in the header that updates every 120 seconds or so and leave your browser window open all night while you sleep, when you wake up you will have hundreds of new posts (depending on how many new posts you set the program to update with)

One more trick, finding keywords that REALLY work, is to set up VBulletin to email you with every new post to the forum, that way you can review every single post individually as they are made and delete the ones that aren?t relevant.
