Yahoo! answers conversion

I did decent on Answers back in November. I made a little over $800 in 3 weeks spending 15 minutes 5-6 days a week. I was using the diet and weight loss niche. It has completely died since then. I haven't made $100 this month and I have really worked on it hard. I'm sure there are other niche's out there that are successful, but the only way to find them is to research.

Yes, too many people did weight loss products, when I did SEO for the first time, I sold some products, those products are not hot niche in cb. But

given that you did decent on Answers in November, I wonder if it's because Answers had suspended your account for dropping the same affiliate links too many times

I was thinking to do the same but earlier on thought of just outsourcing the answers but then i decided to use **************** software. I will test Y!ans soon and update you guys with my success or failure.

Now just thinking something outside the box really....hmmm revenge sites might work good or by using frames...

I have had success with Y! Answer, just make ur answer convincing enough, just imagine urself if u would be convince, other people are just like you.

Um, another important thing is to make sure that you login as one user and post the original question using your exact keywords you want to target - so the question is perfectly optimised and gets picked up right by the search engines.

And then let the question sit for a few days. Allow other people to answer it a few times.

Then you answer the question as a second, different user and provide a link to your site where you have your offer.

Then (not immediately because you don't want to make things look fishy) within a day or two log back in as the FIRST user who posed the question - and pick the answer you answered as the second id as the best answer.

This way you control the whole process and can minimize those other answers. Your own respond will automatically show at the top since you chose it as the best answer.

The key is to be two different users, wait a few days between posting and answering your own question, and make sure the title of your question is your EXACT keyphrase that you want to place for.

So if you're targeting an obscure weight loss keyphrase like "ways to make sure i lose weight" That should be your exact question title.

Then you end up placing nicely in Google for your keyphrase (assuming you don't have too much competition.)

Why not just open another yahoo account just for using this auto poster?

I have been hit and miss with Yahoo Answers. Sometimes I get a ridiculous amount of traffic and conversions and then other times nudda.

It's different with different markets. But it's still definitely in my marketing mix.

At one time YA was great for CB products. Last year I saw a huge dropoff and CB wasn't converting for me. It seems like people are getting used to everyone hitting them up. Instead I use CPA offers which still seem to be doing well. $4-500 per month. Ill tell you what I'm doing right now.

Currently they are offering a free sleep guide from clickonhealth it's paying 1.40 per lead.

Search out questions regarding sleep, sleep apnea, insomnia.

Answer the questions directing them to the site (too much work) or use a bot

Example of response. "I was in the same boat as you, tossing turning it's no way to live. (Link) is giving out this guide, it has allot of good tips in there that I used and they worked. I had been to my Dr and prescribed the usual sleep aids. Problem is the side effects are allot stronger than you'd think. Give it a shot, hope it helps you."

This is what I do With YA and it works. It won't make you rich but it can bring in a few bucks every week...and you won't get banned. I focus on ONLY 1 niche and I give the BEST answers that you'll find. I don't put any links in my posts. What I've discovered is that if you come across as an "expert" people will come to you ie: they'll e-mail you or seek you out, somehow. People that come to you are the easiest to sell. After a couple e-mails I will recommend a product to them and a lot of times they buy.

gun-shy: How much do u make off this? Do u do this with CPa or sale products only?

I am about to start using yahoo answers again, which do you think is best to do : CPA offers or Sale item offers? Should I only go with high commission offers (like $25-100 per lead/sale?) or have some people had success with alot of smaller ones?
