I spend few hours on trying to exploit the yahoo answers traffic.
It seems like not converting.
I tried with weightloss ebooks and some other health ebooks.

Does anybody had success with Y! Answers? I mean, did you check if the "money spending" traffic is comming from there?

Could you give a little more information on what you did? Some numbers maybe? How much traffic did you send?

(Under 100 for CPA offers or 200+ for products I wouldn't make any speculations on the conversion rate).

It's a clickbank link and i don't know how to track the statistics there, so I don't know :D
Funny but true.
Do you have any success with Y!Ans ?

Oh by the way, about the CPA offers... CPA *mpire e-mailed me to ask me what campaigns I will use and sh*t.

Testing and tracking is the key to success. You either learn it and make $$$ or avoid it and make pennies!

As for converting, I find Y!Ansr3rs to really be at around the same level as SUpon traffic - Trash. But, it's worth the backlinks IMO. If you could use it to rank higher in google, go for it!

I'm using clocked url from a service that doesn't support stats tracking.
And I'm cloacking directly the aff link.
And clickbank do not support tracking (do they?)

Clickbank doesn't track the clicks through your affiliate links.

Uhm just get yourself a domain, use a php redirect and write your own counter, it's actually pretty easy to do.

And for CPAEmpire, just tell them you will be using PPC and you will be fine.

I made several campaigns on several aff programs and used aff programs I signed uo for only testing yahoo answers conversion. It is really trash traffic. Only good for the backlinks.

I tried topics like internet & computer, travelling and dating. And dating is the biggest trash. Mostly questions like "Why he left me" "she looks in my eyes - she loves me".

Making (optimized) questions by myself brought about 5 clicks per question, but zero $. For what it converts well: driving traffic to sites like forums.

I love promoting my freebie site with Y! Answ3rs (lots of targeted traffic), but the diet niche is hit and miss. I made some good money in the beginning, but it has all fizzled down to nothing.

I need to start promoting my other niche sites there and see what happens, I can report back.

I make about 400$ each day with yahoo answers. It's easy and I love the traffic. Just gotta think outside the box

Do you actually write quality responses? Won't that take a lot of time?

Out of answering 20 answers, quality answers, I've made one sale ($25) from the skin care and blemishes niche. I gave up b/c it took 5 minutes per answer, and that's just too much time.

Do you have any strategy to this, like how many questions you answer a day?

LOL He tells you he makes $400 a day with Yahoo Answers and then convinently has a link in his sig about Yahoo Answers stuffed with his affiliate link :D

Nice dude! Real subtle! ;)

I agree with newboyontheblock, it's kinda funny...

Btw I've tried several offers CPA/Clickbank products etc with Yahoo Answers, some of the CPA offers were doing OK, but it takes too much time to sustain the daily income level, and frankly it's too fucking boring to answer like 50-60 times a day.

This strategy wasn't successful for me, either...

why dont you guys just outsource the answers? Wouldn't that solve the problem of being bored all day answering questions about pimples and yeast infections.

how does one "outsource" for something like this? I've always wanted to do so but never knew where to begin! PM me if you can help steer me along

Yahoo answers are great for backlinks, and if you are using something like caffinated content plugin you can make a whole blog using yahoo answers.

It will suck up a year even if you want of yahoo q&a and make them look like blog posts.

Some of that content is great. Tweek it up a bit and away you go.

Then you go back in and point new questions to your blog. Trust me, you'll have a post about what ever you want on there.

recycle:D

Hogwash.

I made KILLER cash with YA years ago, and I still make about $200 a month from links I dropped years ago. All on autopilot, easy money. You just have to experiment, write good leading copy that will make your click irristable, and you'll be golden. Forget about using a URL shorteners, YA has the number on those, and will ban you right quick.

I would say this. Get yourself about 5 offers, and about 3 throwaway domains, and make a new profile everyday, with a answer to a jumppage redirecting to your all offer on each site. Don't post more that 50 answers on each user, and don't use the same link (or the same IP) twice on any account. That should do it for sure.

I tried the familiar thing as you did, promoting health ebooks, though some people chose my answer as best answers, the result is not good, I noticed that people who asked questions in YA answer are always young guys that might not be your target buyers, maybe we should jump out the box.
