BTW xTumble bot doesn't depend on the tumblr api Fatboy. It's not browser or api based, it uses multithreaded web request. Hence the speed. If tumblr changes there site, we still have to change the bot. It's usually done within 12-24 hours.

My apologies - wasn't saying your bot did....it was a quick response and I phrased it poorly. I was meaning to say that bots that use APIs hit problems generally and was answering the guy who posted before me.

My xtumble is not loading up what so ever. I have added on skype with no reply, and the website login is still down. Anyone having the same problem ?

Having a similar issue today. Was up and running fine this morning, now getting an "unhandled exception error" whenever I try to load the bot. Tried re-downloading from the website in case something is wrong with my file, but get a 404 error. Any idea what's going on?

Same for me a lot of problems with it recently.
I have to be honest I'm not seeing any ROI on this bot between it being down and not generating a lot of traffic the $47 isn't going to pay it self off this month.

Apologies for the late skype reply, was traveling home from honeymoon in Europe. Skypes are replied to now!

Yes! Developer is fixing the unhandled exception issue from the 1.0.4.3 update for certains operating systems today. Hang tight. Add xtumblebot on skype if you are not already in the skype group for live updates.

Sure ...

It's an Oauth permissions based viral offline poster ... if you are familiar with viral facebook apps, then this will sound familiar. Here is how it works.

1. you send traffic with a tumblr bot to your landing page
2. user oauths in by clicking a button, and confirming permissions on tumblr. The button can be placed on a landing page, or directly on tumblr.
3. it reblogs your post(s) on their wall.
4. You now have permission to reblog to there wall anytime now

So here is the flow...

tumblr -> landing page -> user auths in -> post is made to there wall -> token stored in your database for future posting on there walls -> they are redirected to your aff link

The viral script supports multiple domain and app rotation, spintax, and multiple reblogs.

I'm trying to add some text and a link at the end of the existing captions when using the reblogger, but can't seem to figure out a way to do it. Does adding a caption automatically remove the existing caption no matter what? Or is there a way to simply add my text to what is already there (as one would do normally)?

EDIT: Anybody? Anybody? Bueller? The documentation is very vague on this point, and the Skype chat seems to be non-existant, with my messages going unread, let alone getting any kind of a response... Basically just want to add my text/link at the bottom of the existing captions when re-blogging, but can't seem to find the correct syntax to do this with the bot. Anybody know of a way to do this, or if it's even possible? Or does the bot ONLY replace the existing text with the custom caption text? One of the big parts of reblogging is keeping the original caption and adding your two cents at the bottom, I can't believe there wouldn't be a way to do this. Anyone?

Did I miss something in that journey thread or is that a really bad example of making money with your bot? A couple hundred bucks a month profit? LOL That might be ok if you live in some sh*thole 3rd world country I guess.

I'm thinking of buying Xtumble. Is it safe to have 2 accounts per proxy? Or is it too much?

I have about 30 private proxies and always run at least two bots at once and both with more than 30 accounts, right now is one with 45 and second with 100 accounts ... you just need to create your accounts slowly, one per IP daily and don't start pushing the same links on all accounts at once, post first pics without links, like some stuff, follow a few people and after week or so you can start slowly pushing your stuff

I have ran up to five accounts per proxy but I post and reblog pretty slowly.

depends on the age of accounts and urls, if you have aged account and post various urls, not the same all the time, than you can be OK, but it's always good to post some times without urls and captions even if you have aged accounts

if you will post the same url over and over on the new account, you will get ban pretty fast
