I would like to share with everyone that I am subscribed to their $16 VPS Germany plan and my node just got DDOS'ed yesterday (their support just confirmed it to me), and now my VPS has been down for a total of 26-27 hours now, I've been following up relentlessly but kindly, and now I'm losing big revenue and can't do anything about it.

If anyone from xsserver is out there please help me out.

Very pleased about the thread. I was about to use their service but I found some decent alternatives in this thread. Thanks guys.

I second that..I feel that the ultimate frustration is not with the speed but is with the connectivity..

It makes me want to cry when I'm were checking xxx,xxx links and more often at the half or near the end the vps disconnects and I have to redo ALL OVER AGAIN..

anyway, hostwinds looks good just look out for their win vps coming soon(stated in their blog).I'll get it soon as its available

scarpebox doesn really use that much of the bandwidth the software is self limiting by itself.

the bandwidth is really only needed if you are hosting streaming websites.

but the links per minute is a factor of many things RAM, CPU ,BW and other settings

on our servers with 10-12 connections we have only seen a peak usage of 70-80mbps on 1 gbps lines that is less than 10% use.

you dont need more than 100mbps to actually run scrapebox in its optimal settings.

You're wrong.

When the host gives you a line, it's says 1gbps, its 1 gigabit per second.

When you gather information on your data usage, its 70-80 mbps, which is 70-80 megabyte per second. So, you are actually using 70-80% of the connection.

Don't tell me you still can't differentiate gigabit from gigbyte.

Ok, my VPS almost 4 days down now. SERIOUSLY. WTF.

This is what's on their site:

Dear Client,

Currently the vps hosted on DENODE is down due to fsck going on the main host node, We currently do not have any ETA it might take upto 24-72 hrs or less to rebuild the filesystem, once fsck is completed vps will be back online. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused due to this downtime.

It's look like I made mistake. I ordered VPS from xsserver.eu 36 hours ago, and I still waiting for login info.
