Market samurai or SB were dead a few times too...and they are still here and fully functional.

There are many custom mods that you can buy for xrumer or make them yourself...
If you put them all together you can have excellent results.
On other site forum posts and profiles still can be used for indexing, negative seo, etc...
I don't think xrumer will ever die.

even link directory (e.g. PhpLD) links still work and they said they don't work like 4 years ago. even garbage content works and they said it doesn't.

Xrumer can no longer be used by itself to rank websites for competitive terms long term on Google. If that's what you mean by 'dead', then yes xrumer is dead.
If you consider all of the other ways (both SEO and non SEO) that you can make money using xrumer, it certainly is not dead.

bluematter sums it up the best--no tool or online resource is dead for those who are willing to be flexible and learn how to use it more effectively. The same goes for Xrumer or anything else, even Myspace as another thread on this forum discusses. Site owners who get stuck in a rut and are unwilling to change up their same old routine are the ones who are going to get left behind. These are the ones who moan that Xrumer is dead more often than not. Learning how to work with the algorithm changes is a much more productive use of time and energy in my opinion.
