this would save so much time and money, G usually penalize sites for abuse onsite seo not the off site

Well, business is business but it's not such an "honorable" way of out competing your competitors.
I don't really know what people can do with Xrumer but if you can't generate enough back links to make google put your competitor's site on their blacklist all you'd be doing is helping the guy?

I'm sure that this kind of thing goes on and I'd be pissed to have my knees kicked out from underneath me by some lowlife punk who couldn't be assed to to get his own site up the search engines without taking out his competitors.

And IF you could do this (and outsmart Google) then I'm pretty sure one of your ex-competitors would come along and kick your legs out from underneath you.
This would keep going on until everyone had got each other banned from Google - Google would have no sites to index - Google wouldn't be able to sell Ads as there would be no organic rankings - the universe would explode and it would be your fault.
Now, take your finger off the thought trigger find something else to do....

I wish all my competitors would try to get my banned. It would make me so happy because in the end I would probably end up number one.
Now there are other ways to ruin an online competitor, but those will remain nameless as it is really dirty.

lol how do you expect to use xrumer to "get him banned"?
xrumer is a forum/profile link posting tool... not a weapon to eliminate competition.
my guess is that you don't own xrumer.

If the competition is weak, you can wipe them out. But if the competition is strong and they are constantly getting links from good sources and have quality content, it's only matter of time Google picks up that it was an abuse attempt! Don't waste your energy on that, but focus on making yourself strong!

It's way harder than you think to get someone banned. If it was that "easy" everyone would be doing it to their competition by now and you would have seen several "major" sites go down I would think
Also you shouldn't be focusing on getting someone banned. Just focus on increasing your ranking & don't worry about the other guy, you are your own competiton.

Actually it is not so hard to get banned for spam. Matt Cutts talks about it in a video. But if your site have been spammed with and google penaltize you for it you can make a reconsideration request saying that you were not resposible for them.
