I'm a newbie and a little confused. I have websites that have been around for 5 years +. I'm looking to pump up the volume a bit with some seo and link building. Has anyone used xrumer, angela, or paul for links with success. Also are they considered white hat (or even grey hat) because my websites are in it for the long haul. I'm open for suggestions, thanks in advance.

It seems that Angela and Paul's links aren't as effective these days as some forum owners are deleting the profiles.

There is a really useful thread here which describes what is in my opinion is a better way to get links.

Yes the problem with Paul and Angela now is simply greed, both their and the users part.

As soon as they release that months list 5000+ IMers emerge bleating from the gates of hell and dump a ton of links each.

Well I've subscribed to angela and paul's links for this month. 2 weeks in and no change. I guess it's too soon to see results. Also i'm not fully sold on this xrumer but i'm really dying to give it a try. Any recommendations for someone offering the xrumer blast in this forum. Thanks in advance.

All 3 are short-lived solutions. You can get some decent bang for your buck from Xrumer, but it won't last.

I don't know what your site topics are, but you should concentrate on getting some quality backlinks by posting some great content and finding quality sites that will either link to it or use your content as a 'guest post'.

You'd be much further ahead in 3 months if you spent 3 hours a week creating great content and finding quality sites to offer it to (along with your backlink, ofcourse), then wasting your aged-site's reputation (in Google's eyes) on short-lived methods that could get your site flagged.

I created 30 backlinks with Paul's high PR forum profiles. After 2 weeks no inlinks showed in yahoo site explorer. Then blasted my domain with xrumer and backlinks started to come in next day. So i think xrumer is far more effective for link building.

I think getting links via articles is a much better method than getting back links via the methods from the 2 names above.

I wouldn't agree that banging links onto forum pages is white hat either; more grey hat.

Writing and submitting articles on the other hand is white hat and surely has more Google longevity.

I use my own profile links. It works as long as you target low competition words.

Thanks for the feedback guys. So it's content, articles and quality backlinks, got it. That really is time consuming...HELP!!! I need a good outsource and I need my sleep man.

My friend, you can outsource everything here in the web. The article writing, the article submission and the xrummer blast.

I do not want to publish any post, if you need recommendations you can PM me.

Ok for the start. Paul+Angela = some risk (Quite a risk)

Nowadays, when you get your monthly packet, you must rush to build your backlinks as the sites listed in the packets are, sooner or later, going to ban backlinks from their site and stop new registrations altogether. Even if you get lucky and post your links, you still stand a chance to discover your profile being deleted from some of the sites.

The solution : find sites that really don't care/check who joined and what they did and more importantly how many. OR spend extra time making your profile look like real. (Still it is pain in the a*s doing all those things as you could get more links in the same time with other methods)

However, It does work, so I now use my own method to find new sites to get backlinks from. And this is second solution. This is important, as thousands of thousands of people whore a site to get backlinks, in my opinion, the site itself will loose weight in giving the link juice to the backlinked site. So find your own sites, and do not spam them mercilessly.

xrumer = some risk

Paul/Angela no risk

That link is not working any more. I dunno I just checked and I cant get to that page.

The thing with angela/pauls link is that, sometimes you really have to wait quite long and you have to consistently build your backlinks to get desired results. If the competition is heavy you cannot expect to get to the top with 30 backlinks against 1000's of your competitors backlinks. However, if you once start to show in the results due to their packets, you are gonna be there for longer time.

Xrumer is good and I approve of the method, yet it will only get you "flash in the pan". I.e your sites will show up and go down equally quickly. So you would need to get your visitors to stick with you, promote you through word of mouth and bookmark you. This is like catching the wind when your glider hits the altitude.

So in my discretion, use xrumer for the short term lift and paul/angela list for the long term.

(Its like share market, you need to play your long term and short term strategy to make money and stay afloat)

hope it helps :)

So long as you don't even think about linking from A&P places, to your main site, you'll be ok... only link to your articles or other pages that you aren't bothered about if they de-indexed.

I have heard, xRumer, is a black hat tool. Therefore, you'll be out of search engines sooner or later.
Gaining so much links in a very short period is a big mistake.
Also your host might suspend your site if they detect spamming things

I am new to all these methods as well and recently i have just bought a 200K xrummer blast to my business website the site is 9 years old. I have also purchased 50 links for Angela and Paul i am currently waiting on my reports and services to be finished and i will let you know the outcome if you want.

Please don't classify xRumer as a 'heavy spam tool that will get you banned from search engines in no time', we've heard that crap for a while and various searches on G for top keywords tell me it's not true. None of my sites has ever been banned. Remember, it's not xRumer that mass spams, it's the user that inserts the linklists, if you just spread out your BL's over various web 2.0's/inner pages/doorways with different anchors you'll never mass spam any link. Unless you insert a 2mil linkslist ofcourse. It's the user's choice to mass spam, which means xRumer is not a mass spamming tool, it's just capable of doing what the user wants ;)

Thanks for all your help guys. The information here is greatly appreciated. Best regards and happy hollidays.

ok here is my report so far. The person i used was very professional sent a good report to me for the xrumer blast i did one for 200K and i have to ttell you so far i have seen such an improvement in my rankings i am ranked #2 for almost all of my keywords (only 2 didnt show) and it is great i mean i will let you kow in a couple of weeks if my site back down i am still waiting on the A & P links but if i was you i would just buy a 200k Blast it is great.
