What typically results in better SEPS - 1000 PR3 forum posts (of course only the main url is PR3) vs. 3000 PR1 posts?

The issue here is the relevance of the higher PR on the main URL when the forum post is actually only brand new.

How much weight does a higher PR for the main URL matter when the actual post does not have that high PR?

I've experimented a little and it seems the higher PR sites show quicker results, but does this make a difference in the long run?

What i can tell you is ive not seen much diffrence with high pr to lower pr when it comes to forum profiles, what i can say is if you pyramid build with xrumer from a keyword on a smf to say a phpbb linkback the juice is better and also the chances of indexing natural is upped like 60%

don't you mean a phpbb linking to smf since phpbb doesn't have anchor text? so phpbb -> smf -> site

It can be any link really even smf to smf its all good, when i first got xrumer i started just doing nomal blasts but they suck real bad so i started doing this way and ive seen better link juice and faster indexing as well

In cases like this, I like the mix the two. That is going to seem more natural to the Big G, and covers both bases, as well as future algorithm changes.

"What typically results in better SEPS" - a d0f0llow link from a high PR page on a high PR site. Yes i know it is not what you ask, but it is a better solution. People run away from manual posting because they think they have to post to 1000's of sites. But 20 links on high PR pages of high PR sites will propel you a lot higher.
