There are a large number of flags and meta-commands that are not mentioned in the helpfile, a few are mentioned in the Russian helpfile but even in that there are a good many missing.

Has anybody done any work relating to working out what these extra flags and meta-commands are?

I spent a bit of time trying to establish quite why Xrumer reports so many things as a success when it has completely failed, much of the fault must surely be through xmessages being so generic. In particular I see frequently CAPTCHA solving is marked as correct, but a quick look in the debug folder shows it got it completley wrong.

OK I took xmessages and cleaned it out completely, then rewrote it so it only had the data from 10 SMF sites (they were mostly standard setups so xmessages was small). Ran them through Xrumer again and it still thought it had solved the CAPTCHA when in reality it was not even close.

So it is not simply that its picking up so misc text on the wrong captcha page. Do the CAPTCHA by hand and its does all 10 without problem.

Looking through several forums I see a number of people have reached a conclusion on false CAPTCHA solutions giving problems, but not seen anybody post any improvement ideas.

Xrumer does everything it, and others, say it will do. Its success rates are exactly as people on this forum state they are.

I am just having a look at options to make it even better. . . overclock it a bit ;)

You can change like 95% of the way the program works... the capability is there to have a much higher success rate for specific forum types.

It is extremely usefull that you are allowed to run two copies even, one copy doing some work while I mess about with the other :)

I just dont want to re-invent the wheel if people have already worked on all this then they can chip in if they like. . .

Can you share what these metacommands are and where you found them?
