xrumer on $$ sites

I hear alot of people say not to use x rumer on your money site.

But why not? If it is used moderately, it seems to me a great way to get some good PR backlinks.

The same seems to be true for Scrapebox.

If one doesn't overdo it, what the hell is the problem??

If you don't overdo it and what you do is intelligently done, it should be OK. Links from these tools work best on sites that already have a lot of other types of links, where the tool derived links are not the majority of links like they would be on a new site.

But if everything is a forum profile link with the same anchor text to the same URL from the same username, well, you will find out quickly why it is best not to do this to your money site. You have to have self control with the amount of links, and you have to use the tool with finesse.

I still advise that you use these tools to build authority to your own link pyramids, because then the pyramid can be used to link to more than one money site. This relatively small amount of extra effort can pay off bigger than just links to a single money site.

thats a good point about building the ring sites. But I've been blasting them pretty well and well I'm just looking for other fun targets (because blasting backlinks is so fun).

I'm thinking I could use scrapebox in a controlled way to get relevant backlinks with a high pr. The $$ domain is over 3 years old and has had some real natural backlinking already.

I just want to get more High pr backlinks and thought scrapebox or xrum might be a good way to go.
