XRumer On Home Computer?

Depending on your Internet connection, you may get away with it.

I know lots of people that use Xrumer on XP and Windows 7 PC's, so I'm sure it wouldn't be too much of a problem.

However, what you need to be careful of is the amount of Bandwidth you use. Xrumer is very powerful, and can use A LOT of Bandwidth. For this you need to be cautions, and always check to see how much you're allowed with your ISP - just see their "Fair Usage" Policy.

Of course, always use decent proxies, too. But, as a general rule of thumb, I recommend a dedicated server.

But, as long as your computer is powerful, and you follow your ISP's Fair Usage Policy, and of course proxies, I can't see there being any problems!

Hope that helps!
Lynn. :)

Another thing I want to know is that if I use proxies, does it still use my ISP bandwidth?

It doesn't make much difference.

Proxies act like a back door; the middle man type of thing.

Your browser sends the request to the proxy server instead of the website, who then sends the request to the server/website. The server/website responds to the proxy server, and the proxy server sends the request/webpage to you.

So, instead of:

Browser Request > Website/server Receives request
Website/server Responds > Browser displays Website

It goes:

Browser requests > Proxy requests > Webpage received request
webapge responds > Proxy receives response and responds > browser receives response from proxy and displays webpage

Pretty simple :) But as you can see from the two above, the browser still uploads and downloads requests and responses ...

Hope that helps,
Lynn.

Can I use XRumer on my home PC? or it too powerful for it..

sure you can, you just need good internet connection and a powerful processor. Also in some time you may face problems with your ISP because of all the spam, thing like that happened to me when i used to spam emails :)

I run Xrumer on my personal PC.

Speccs:
100mbit/up&down
4gb ram 800mhz
Intel E5200 (2,5ghz x2)

I use Anonine.com VPN.

why would you have problems with ISP, unlike mail, posting on forums are based on individual owners, so it's much much less likely to get in any type of trouble. (and if anything does happen, is your IP getting banned by the site)

source. owner of multiple forums

now remove my forums from your lists you fucks.

@arm
Don't expect it to go full speed, hell 8mbit was a pain in the ass :)
But it is doable.. just slow.

no if its hybrid doh ... being smart is hard.
And that makes my statement what.. wrong?
Last time i checked electric cars use a motor. Whats Electricity to this engine?
Hummm... fuel? :)

Oh well who cares. Put a little bow on your tin foil hat and wiggle away

It is better to order xrumer service than to buy costly software and use it on weak machines.

It's smarter to buy xrumer, and buy dedicated windows hosting somewhere, and run it at full speed.

It's not really designed to be run at home for a majority of the users.
So unless you have 100mbit i wouldn't recommend using your home computer for long.
Your choice.

Yes you won't achieve much on home computer. With buying Xrumer you must have much more than only 540$ for licence.

i have been thinking about doing this too, but it just seems sooo expensive to want to a) take the chance to run it on a home computer b) eat up all your bandwidth.

I've used xrumer on my computer. Not recommend for huge blast.

I'm interested in xrumer in the near future. Can you control how fast it runs? Like throttle it down to run on a home PC with 10 MB connection?
