So maybe this has been asked a million times so please forgive my noobness. Xrumer. Today. How effective is it post-google apocalypse?Also a couple of other questions:1. If I buy xrumer how much more would I have to invest (software,vpns,hardware,etc) to run it at a "enterprise" level (able to create 100k+ backlinks with ease)

Maybe for third or fourth tier, just to speed up the indexing process. Other than that, I don't see a use for it.

That vast majority of my sites rank with <300 links in total...
 
If you want to quickly rank for a high profitable keywords, stay there for few days, bank hard and get your site penalized, then xrumer is for you. However, i would rather recommend you GSA SER, SER is much cheaper and it has more features out of box than xrumer have, but xrumer can be heavy modified and you can buy great mods which can be really effective for churn and burn campaigns, but if you are beginner go for GSA.
 
Xrumer is no longer effective because it is mass spam and Google has devalued forum and other similar links.
 
After purchasing this software you also recieve social plugin, which is pretty good these days.
 
Pretty strong if you have already a several years old site with tons of backlinks. Works like a charm on tier 2 and tier 3 links on these kind of sites. Wouldn't recommend it on new sites or those with a small number of backlinks.
 
i believe it's 650$ per licence, about 15$ monthly subscription, about 30$ you will need to pay for vps, not sure about proxies as i do not blast myself but my partner does and it still works beautifully. it's not a software for everyone but if you have good idea you will make a money of it.

I've never actually heard of anyone that pays the monthly...

yes he is 100% true am also using GSA.That is really effective.
 
But compare to senuke or xrumer i can give support to xrumer am not used before my friend have but he really dont know how to utilize it.There is lots in there.
 
Haven't used it for a very long time. I tihnk if you can achieve any rankings using it they would still be only short term.

This was true until XRumer 7 was released. After that monthly subs are required. However, I'm not sure how many people bother. I know I only pay when I want to use it and then cancel the sub. But I agree that it is less useful than before. And the mods that people go on about are a pain to develop to the point it would be easier to automate Selenium with programming language of your choice. If you buy a mod from somebody then guaranteed it will be buggy after all if the mod was really all that good he would be using to rank by himself and not selling.

Unfortunately, the decision that botmaster made a while back to add ability to post to web 2.0 means that there is a likelihood that web 2.0 is going to be blasted to death. This indicated to me that they are having problems getting new customers and so this functionality which was being asked four to five years ago is now being added to attract new customers to keep the goose laying golden eggs.

I will probably try GSA once I get round to generating content from my web service and then dumping it out as static text files which GSA can then use. I do so wish the developer would add the functionality to grab content from a web service but he indicated it is not something that he will add. But it *looks* like GSA is more useful but I will know for sure when I test it.
 
Its not a Push button Process. I love how people say Xrumer does not work anymore. Less spammers ruining things. Got to know how to use it. Xrumer will always be boss. Not Tier 1 Tier 2 link pyramids or any of the old crap. Be smarter.
 
I decided to stop using XRumer in favour of GSA SER. I've been seeing greater results. Better than the Churn & Burn scenarios.
 
It still works for me,I don't see how any other program will top it off yet,the room for improvement is huge.
If your brain hurts when thinking Xrumer is not for you,just saying.
