    Hello All,

I am sure that this question has been answered a few times before but when I searched all of the threads relating to this seemed a bit dated.

I am waiting for my Payment to be approved for Xrumer so I should have it pretty soon. In the meantime I am trying to figure out the best hosting company to use for it.

I have heard a few different opinions on server requirements and the best hosting companies to go with.

However, I hate monthly bills and was wondering if it would be possible to run it from a home PC if I purchased one specifically for the purpose of running Xrumer.

Here's the specs for the CPU I was thinking of getting for this purpose.

    Processor
Intel Core i7 930 Quad Core Processor (2.8GHz, 8MB Cache)

    Memeory

    12GB Triple Channel 1333MHz DDR3

    Hard Drive
    2TB - SATA-II, 3Gb/s, 7,200RPM, 32MB Cache HDD

Would this work? And if so what other requirements does my system need. Would there be any problems with this setup or other things I need to consider? As I said before I hate monthly billing so the cost is not really an issue, so long as I can pay for it once and be done with it.

Last but not least. If this will not work. Where is the best place to get a reliable dedicated server for Xrumer use? And is it ok to have a site hosted on the same server?

Sorry for all of the questions but I want to get this setup as easily/effectively as possible and I know that some of you guys here know your stuff when it comes to Xrumer.

Thanks in advance for your help...

The biggest issues you're going to run into aren't with not having enough processor power (although, it is certainly a good thing to have "more than enough").

The larger concerns are: Bandwidth usage, bandwidth speed, spam complaints, your ISP shutting off internet access due to a TOS violation, etc, etc.

If you don't like monthly fees and money isn't a concern, I'd recommend you get yourself a yearly plan with a dedicated server. This will come with a large upfront cost, but with a HUGE discount compared to what you would've spent on a monthly plan.

Be upfront with the companies you're looking to use with xrumer. Tell them what your intentions are and if they'd be okay with it. SAVE THE CONVERSATION.

Performance of such server will be completely OK and i think you don't need 12GB RAM completely OK is 4-6GB RAM most important is CPU and core i7 is very good CPU.
Second most important is bandwidth and bandwidth limits and spam complaints if your ISP can give superior bandwith and don't complain about spam complaints then yes you can use xrumer from home.

Well if I can upgrade my internet speed to say.. 60mbps. Do you think that would be enough?

Also, as for spam complaints. Wont using good proxies solve that issue?

As for paying yearly for the server, I guess that could work. Can you recommend a reliable company that is okay with you running Xrumer. I have heard mixed responses, is there any company that has a proven reputation for this sort of thing. I mean who is everyone's fav for this???

I heard about volumedrove.com but someone told me that they recently started closing accounts due to spam complaints. Any others?

    Thanks..

60mbit/s probably will be enough in short I'm using 30-50mbit/s actual download speed when running xrumer with full power ( actually limiting factor now IS CPU...) - it is ~300-350GB/day, only way to test it out is to start use xrumer and see how it performs with such connection. As for servers I can't recommend because I don't need them, I have 2 independent connections in home 300mbit/s and 500 mbit/s lines and both ISP never complained about forum spam last 8 months....

I don't recommend public proxies but if you use private elite proxies then yes most likely you will not get Spam complaints but again I think problem will be to find such proxies which are very fast and with unlimited bandwidth

im going to get xrumer also.
is it possible to control the output speed?
instead of running it full speed,
can i just run it at a slower speed so my internet speed and computer can handle it?

there is no way i can afford a server, but i dont want to blast full speed.
id like a more natual growth shown (if possible)
my internet is HORRIBLE. its dsl, wish i had cable or fios!

I imagine if you do forum profiles you won't have any spam or TOS complaints from your ISP. And for getting higher in SERPS / page rank forum profiles are great.

Ok, well from what I gather I may as well just get a dedicated server for it.

The thing is, no matter how many threads I read on countless forums noone seems to have stated any company as being the best. It's like it's some kind of hush hush secret or something..

Can someone simply tell me where is the BEST place to get dedicated hosting for Xrumer use from?? Who are you guys using??

You might want to play around with it a bit on your home pc and rent and dedicated server once you get the hang of it, that's what I am thinking of doing.

I was thinking about just buying xrumer and running it on my laptop (1GB ram , 1.73 GHz) with a broadband internet connection.. Any idea how many forum profiles I could make in say 1 hour with those type of specs?

    Thanks

To be honest with the you the price is not so much of an issue for me.

I fair pretty well with my online endeavors and a good dedi would actually be nice. I could probably run Scrapebox, and LFE from there as well.

I just want a host that wont shut me down for complaints. I have been poking around at stopforumspam.com and a lot of people are using kimsufi.com

I can't see why though? They're based in france and hardly seem to be bulletefroof. I really wish there was a such thing as a bulletproof ISP.

In the end I think I am going to give wrzhost.com a try.

    Any reviews for them???

It's not easy to find a good reliable host.

Paying for twelve month's service may not be wise. They may close their doors at anytime.

Yea, I'm definitely not going to be paying any hosting provider 12 months in advance.

I am looking at wrzhost.com right now. I think I am going to go with them for the time being.

I am mostly going to be focusing on profiel blasts for the moment so I should be good.

You only get 2000gb data transfer per month...you'll easily surpass that with xrumer though. Ive seen some people do 300-400gb in a day.

I'm looking for a host as well :\

I did notice that and was hoping that I could pay them a bit extra to give me unlimited bandwidth.

Unfortunately they dont have any type of live support and you have to register to submit a ticket, but they're site wont let you.

If you find a good host please do share the info with me. PM if needs be.;)

If you find a good host, I would like to know too.

It's hard to find a good reliable host at reasonable prices.
