What are the minimum requirements for a Dedi Server to be able to run Xrumer Efficiently?

Is there any thread on BHW that compare Dedi Server Requirements VS Xrumer Performance?

Im looking to buy a Dedi server in the next week and I really have no Idea what I should go for...

i bought dedi for a month and its got pentium 4 . 1g ram and unlimited bandwith and that is shit. runs very slow.hrefer takes for ever. LinkList takes for ever. Obviously Zlinks are very quick.

So anything more than that. im going to get a quad core 4 gig ram next month
 
I'm running this and its not fast enough...Im running 200 threads on xrumer and max threads on hrefer. Ill be bumping this up from 100mpbs shared to 10mbps dedicated..Lets see how that goes!

That should be fine. Just make sure that you keep it under control AND that you use proxies. Your host won't like it if people start complaining that you're spamming the crap out of them. You'll get the boot real quick.
 
Should I use my own private proxies or the one that Xrumer is offering are just fine?
 
i am using xrumer proxies and they work fine for me. you only need to use proxies using hrefer.
 
I'm gonna have the same server set up by Thursday and I hope it works well for xrumer.
 
question for you guys with xrumer on a dedicated server.

Has anyone tried running xrumer off unix/linux? do they even offer it? to my knowledge a dedi nix server should be wayyyyyyy faster than a windows, specially on threading the unix tcp stack is much more flexable than the win.

I suggest at least Dual core CPU and 2GB+ RAM for best performance Quad core and 4GB+ RAM + 100Mbit/s internet connection

This is how xrumer run with Quad core 10440MHZ 4GB RAM and on 200Mbit/s internet connection with regular linkslist:

My dedi's got a Core 2 Quad 2.66gHz and 4GB RAM. Runs at 300-400 threads fine. 500 pushes it, though.

haha how fast is that? are you running that?. Also whee can you get such server :D
 
I don't understand.

Can anybody explain to me, how Xrumer works exactly?

It's a PC based software, or web based application? Why do we need dedicated server?
