    Disclaimer: No I am not flaming the creators or the few people who use this tool in a constructive way or BHW for that matter.

    I just had 3 sites taken off the SERPS, they went down faster than a Thai Hooker!!! and to my surprise 3 competing sites just took my place. (BTW, No offense to Thai hookers intended!)

    Apparently my competitor tracked me cause 3 of my privacy protection thingys expired and I forgot to renew them.. well I think thats how they took down those 3 sites cause the others are OK and in different C's (Knock on wood)

    No, I didn't do anything blackhat on these sites, just normal link building increasing slowly on a daily basis while adding fresh content, no linkfarms/spinning or anything like that...

    I did some backlink research to see if someone suddenly dropped my links or something and to my surprise I see a bunch of backlinks coming from weird forums I've never used to promote my site before... .I see a bunch of them!

    So is this what we are down to? Xrumer warfare? Seriously? ...

    Well seeing as tho as there are no rules to prevent anyone from doing this again and people think Xrumer is covered under the Second Amendment, I'll go out and get me a copy of Xrumer + a ShotGun!

    So I say to that competitor in particular, ITS ON!

    Yes, I am in the same boat with one of my competitors. It does seem like a continual BH arms race. All the white hats get caught up in the crossfire and fallout.

    That is horrible...man that sucks bad.

    Out of curiosity though, wouldn't that only be a temporary gain for the person who has spammed your site to hell? What I mean is, you're probably only sandboxed/doing a google dance due to the huge influx of links all at once.

    I use to own a niche site related to roulette bots. It had a forum on the same domain in the sub-folder "forum".

    I was using an old (riddled with security holes for forum spam bots to use) version of vBulletin. Well, I didn't feel like moderating the forum, so within 1 month, I had over 100,000 spam comments.

    Apparently some of these spammers took an extra step, and were linking back to their spam comments at other places (probably with more spam). Inside of 3 months my site's PR jumped to PR 3 and my listing on google actually increased....after it had disappeared.

    Maybe you'll end up actually experiencing a benefit from all of this. After google decides to release you from the sandbox, you'll have a bunch of backlinks you didn't have to work for.

    Make sure you aim at the right target. Well nothing good will happen if you really start this. Probably nothing suspecting 3rd party website will come on top. I think the best thing to do now is white hatting and probably send email to google to reconsider your website.

    mmm... multiquote ain't working, might be my firefox blocking something.. anyways:

    @inumel

    Yeah I am researching them bastards, they don't seem to be all that smart, they are using similar templates across their sites and some are even interlinked (despite being on different niches)

    @Crazyflx

    I hear ya, but in the mean time my sites are sandboxed and I don't know how long it will take for them to come out of it, it may be 2-4 months till they come back which is lots of lost cash keeping in mind the serp position I had.

    @moremoney

    I intend to! :AR15firin

    @Jizza

    Where in this thread did u read I had one site?:brick:

    @zverr

    I am positive I have a lock on the right target and for the record I didn't start it, they did! So call it bh retribution...

    @cyber_demon12

    Agreed!

    Dude seriously you need to wait a week or two to see what happens. You my end up rising above them. No use in trying to xrummer the competition before you got all the info. You may end up helping the competition.

    I agree with the above post that you should wait and see if it has a positive affect on your site. If it doesn't and you have only been using white hat the whole time, I think that there is a place in the big G for reconsideration of your site in the index.

    I think that your chances of being "reconsidered" by google and being put back into the same ranking as before (or just back in the serps) are as nill as having them reconsider re-instating your account if you claim someone click-bombed your adsense account. I haven't heard of any successful attempt in cases like this.

    I believe that there is a threshold where a site has so much reputation and quality inbound links that from that point forward there really isn't much anyone can do to make it go down the drain.

    I mean sure they could hack the site or something but say running a massive xrummer blast on wordpress.com, NYtimes.com,etc ... wouldn't do a thing to move them down the serps and as some may have implied above, those links will even help them. On the other hand, sites that are not aged enough, don't have that much rep and link profile do set off a big-ass alarm when they come up with 10k+ backlinks in a single day.

    Wow, I thought this was an outdated technique. (Blastin the guy above you in rankings so he gets the boot) I guess it still works. Still a dick move by whoever did it to you..

    oh I hope I am your competitor and you blast 1 mil in my site! Just j/k, what about wait 1-2 weeks maximum and see if your site will come back? I have read many testimonials saying that after "sandboxed" they come stronger than before.

    Do not quote that spammer just report him/her.
